Map Your Route

With additional clarity on your event objectives, a wish list of creative ideas and a handful of potential platforms, we now recommend picking 3 vendors from the previous list and scheduling demos.

A few essentials to think through before securing a demonstration:

  • Event date
  • Expected attendance
  • Sponsorship or exhibitor requirements
  • Budget

Most importantly, let your objectives and ideas guide the following interaction. Here are a few key questions to ask:

  1. How long will it take to build the platform?
  2. What kind of customer support do you offer?
  3. What event-related technology applications (registration, conference management, video conferencing, etc.) integrate with your platform?
  4. How can my attendees engage with the content after the event?
  5. What analytics are captured and how are they shared?
  6. Do you have case studies and references you can share?

Most vendors will provide access to a simulated environment or another client’s site. While demos provide an overview, we highly recommend spending time in a live or simulated environment in your evaluation.
